The law firm IUNO has grown considerably in recent years and is now opening a new Nordic office for the second time and in record speed – this time in Norway. IUNO already has offices in Denmark and Sweden.

Business is strong at IUNO, the law firm which is known among customers and colleagues for its different and highly specialised approach. IUNO has doubled in size over the last few years and has expanded by opening a new office in Stockholm. And now the time for expansion has come once again, this time with a new office in Oslo.

“The office in Oslo is the cherry on top of a busy and exciting year, and the start of a new era for us at IUNO. Our strategy from the very beginning has been to cover all of Scandinavia, and following the opening of our Stockholm office, we experienced increased demand from customers who also wanted our assistance in Norway. It therefore made a lot of sense to open our office in Norway right away, only a short time after opening our Stockholm office,” says IUNO’s chairman, Anders Etgen Reitz.

With regards to the reason for IUNO’s steady growth, Anders Etgen Reitz suggests that the explanation may lie in their somewhat different approach.

“We set ourselves apart from many other law firms in the sector through our more direct, unpretentious and personal style which is 100% focused on delivering quality and creating value for our customers. This is something our customers really appreciate. Above all else, because it means they can focus on what is most important to them – their business.”

Office opened in record time

IUNO is opening its Oslo office just a few months after opening an office in Stockholm, Sweden.

“Companies are becoming more and more international, and they are increasingly looking for consultants who can meet their needs across national borders. At the same time, many global companies view the Nordic region as one and the same market. With offices in all three Scandinavian countries, we can help our customers all across the Nordic region, and this opens up many new possibilities both for us and our customers – possibilities that we are really excited to explore in the coming years,” says Anders Etgen Reitz.

And even if it may appear like IUNO is expanding at lightning speed from the outside, that is not how it is perceived from within the company. IUNO (which stands for Ius Nordicum in Latin, or Nordic Law) has had plans to open offices across the Nordic region ever since the internationally oriented law firm first opened back in 2011. For them, this expansion is a natural and inevitable step in exactly the right direction.
